Periscope
Periscope is Yellow Submarine’s steering group, led by and for people with learning disabilities and autism.
Member Voice
Periscope was set up to give members a platform to share their opinions and ideas for Yellow Submarine. The group help with planning member activities such as the Summer and Christmas party as well as represent Yellow Submarine at fundraising events. They also gather feedback from their peers so staff can shape activities and sessions based on what members need and want the most.
Periscope Leadership
Each year a new Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary are elected to ensure everyone within the group has the opportunity to gain skills in leadership, public speaking and grow in confidence.
