Councillor John Howson completed a 26 mile trek from Oxford to Banbury in aid of Yellow Submarine amongst other local charities.
On his walk John said "The scenery of the rolling north Oxfordshire countryside and the tranquillity of the villages alongside the canal were glorious and I enjoyed the peace and quiet."

The chair of Oxfordshire County Council took advantage of the summer weather by completing a long-planned walk from Oxford to Banbury – raising money for charity in the process.
