Experience: Previous to working at Yellow Submarine, I worked at The Royal Mencap Society, managing a team to support adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism into voluntary and paid work. I hold a Masters Degree in Social and Political Theory and also have a background in strategic planning in higher education.
Roles within the charity: I am Yellow Submarine’s new Work Experience Manager and am responsible for the delivery of our ‘Compass Project’ as well taking responsibility for the progression of members through our ‘STRIDE’ project and into work. I also help out at various different activities when needed!
Favourite Yellow Submarine memory: Meeting all the lovely Compass members in my first week at Yellow Submarine. There were lots of names and faces but it was so much fun!
Hotel or Camping? Easily Camping. Its lovely to watch the sun-setting and waking up to a whistling kettle and bacon sarnies in your Pj’s!
