Yellow Submarine In Your House (Out of Your House!) 🌳
We have a scavenger hunt for you! This hunt is for when you take your walks, as it's super important to remember to get that exercise and fresh air once a day!
When you are out on your walk we are challenging you to find:
3 different kinds of leaves
A stick as long as your head
A round stone
Some litter (which you then put in the bin!)
These 3 birds: A robin, a pigeon, and a Thrush (obviously can't take these home with you, we'll trust you if you say you've seen them!)
Each item will get you a point, send in your photos of you findings to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will announce who got the most points on Sunday! ... See MoreSee Less
Today we are asking members to do something nice for someone!
This could be helping someone with a chore, doing some shopping for a vulnerable neighbour, or drawing a picture which we can send to the Nightingale hospital!
Please do tell us what you do/send any pictures! Either leave them in the comments or email email@example.com ... See MoreSee Less
Why not try this delicious cookie recipe (the texture is a bit more on the shortbready side than cookie but still delicious!)
Super easy and a minimum of only 3 ingredients required!
225g SOFTENED butter (found that out the hard way)
110g caster sugar
275g plain flour
1 tsp cinnamon or other spices (optional) (We'd like to see who uses the most exotic spice!)
75g white or milk chocolate chips, or any other chocolate you like (optional)
1. Heat the oven to 190C/170C fan/gas 5.
2.Cream the butter in a large bowl with a wooden spoon or in a food mixer until it is soft.
3.Add the sugar and keep beating until the mixture is light and fluffy.
4.Sift in the flour and add the optional ingredients, if you’re using them.
5.Bring the mixture together with your hands in a figure-of-eight motion until it forms a dough.
6.Roll the dough into walnut-sized balls and place them slightly apart from each other on a baking sheet (you don’t need to butter or line it).
7.Flatten the balls a little with the palm of your hand and bake them in the oven for around 10-12 mins until they are golden brown and slightly firm on top.
8.Leave the cookies on a cooling rack for around 15 mins before serving.
Please do send us photos of you enjoying your finished cookies! ... See MoreSee Less
