Throughout the year we organise residential holidays for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Residential Holidays

Yellow Submarine started in 2009 to offer adults with learning disabilities and autism holidays with their friends at an affordable cost. For 15 years we have continued taking members on holiday as part of our mission to support people with learning disabilities and autism live life to the full! With each holiday we strive to create an environment in which everyone can relax , have fun and make friends. Our holidays continue to be supported by incredible volunteers helping members create wonderful memories whilst keeping the trips affordable.

Residential Holidays 2024

This year we have 9 holidays designed to be as accessible as possible for members. We take groups of between five and ten people away for each holiday with experienced staff aided by volunteers, each holiday operates on a 2:1 ratio of care. There will be holidays during term time, over the weekend, during school holidays, in the UK and abroad. There is a variety of different accommodation, food options and there is guidance on how much walking there is likely to be on each holiday in the brochure.

Each holiday is all inclusive, with the costs including staff support, activities, accommodation and food. The holiday costs for 2024:

  • UK holidays – £850
  • Butlins, Bognor Regis – £1000
  • European Holidays – £1400

Volunteer on our Holidays

We are looking for volunteers to come on holidays with us. Volunteers are an integral part of each holiday, without their support we wouldn’t be able to create half as many amazing experiences as we do! Why volunteer on a Yellow Submarine holiday?
