Things we like

We've been impressed by the Stay Up Late campaign. It's a good idea and has received wide coverage. It is run by a rock band made up of people with learning disabilities called Heavy Load. You can learn more about ther campaign by visiting their website.

Also good is a magazine that we have come across. It is called "Your Say" and is written by people with learning disabilities. It's a great read with interesting stories and useful and helpful information. We recommend you get your hands on a copy. To subscribe email a lady called Janet Snell

There's an acitivity centre in the Lake District that looks good fun. It's called the Bendrigg Trust. Hopefully one day we can organise a trip there.

We all like to go to the seaside (or at least most of us do!) So it's nice to see there's a disability friendly hotel in Blackpool. It's called Bond Hotel. Yellow Sub will check it out shortly!

Interested in planes? Well you could be flying one! Have a look at the British Disabled Flying Association's website
