Welcome to Yellow Submarine
At Yellow Submarine we organise residential holidays and short breaks, day trips and classes for young people and adults with a learning disability.
We are a charity with a particular desire to provide respite breaks for families caring for young people and adults with special needs, down syndrome, autism or any other learning difficulty. We fundraise to subsidise the price of all our activities and have extra grants for family carers.
For adults we run a holiday just about every month of the year (typically leaving from the South East). We go to various fun locations across the UK and take groups of up to five people with similar interests.
For young people (aged 11-18) living in Oxfordshire we run 'explore' days during the school holidays, visiting various exciting local attractions, as well as an activity club at the Windrush centre.
Please look at our list of holidays and trips for peope with learning disabilities which are approaching. If you see one that you'd like to be part of then please let us know and we can discuss it further.
