We travelled to the Magdalen Project - which is a farm in Somerset - in a minibus.
When we arrived we made our own pizzas.
Here is Kwok cooking his pizza in a wood oven outside.
Brian has made a pizza and is happily showing it off!
Meanwhile Kwok tucks into his pizza.
After eating pizzas we went to see some of the animals on the farm.
We saw chickens which were kept on the farm to lay eggs every day.
As they were hungry we helped feed the chickens.
Jose was worried about the chickens biting his hands so he put the seeds on his jumper.
Luke had no such worries and let the chickens eat straight out of his hand.
Whilst we were feeding the chickens, we also collected any eggs that had been laid and put them in a basket.
Once we had collected the eggs we took them to a special machine which sorted them into sizes - extra large, large and medium.
In the evening we all had dinner together around a big table. It was shepherds pie and then a pudding.
The next day we went to the woods to build a campfire. Here is Luke helping light it with a flint.
We collected firewood and got the fire lit in no time!
Using the fire we cooked sausages for our lunch!
It was good fun and very tasty!
For desert we cooked marsh mellows in the fire.
Here's Brian proudly showing off his coooked marsh mellow.
On the third day we went to the seaside. It was possible to walk on the sand and put our toes in the water.
We walked along the promenade.
And sat on the wall to eat our sandwiches and picnic.
In the evening we played Jenga.
Elly lost!
And afterwards we were invited to join a local barn dance. This is the band.
We danced all sorts of reels. Here are Jose, Michelle, Lucy and Ellie making arches.
On the last day we went to say goodbye to the animals.
Here is a group photo of all of us together on the farm taken just before we left.
