Welcome to the OE Alpine & Exploration Club

The OE Alpine and Exploration Club aims to bring like-minded individuals of all ages together. Once a year the club will organise a significant trip or expedition, possibly climbing or alpine related but sometimes also under the much broader catergory of 'exploration'. The ambition is for this trip to be something out of the ordinary, off the beaten track. No significant expertises are typically required, just a (mild) appetite for adventure and an interest in meeting new people.

Additionally through this website the club acts as a platform for OEs to propose or advertise their own expeditions, be this for a Tuesday evening's climbing, a weekend ski-ing or or a 12-month round the world trip. Please check the site's community board to see if there is anything which interests you or perhaps add a listing/suggestion yourself.
