About First Spark
First Spark was founded in 2007. Its mission is to help vulnerable adults lead fulfilling lives supported by their own community. Two primary projects are being run at the moment:
1. Yellow Submarine Holidays - supported holidays for people with learning disabilities. You will be able to learn more by visiting the dedicated Yellow Submarine Website at www.yellowsub.org.uk when it launches in May 2009.
2. Home Visit Fruit and Veg Project - providing a fresh fruit and vegetable delivery scheme for older people who request it in the Burford area of West Oxfordshire. The project is staffed by community volunteers.
First Spark was operating in Nepal between 2007-2008 but is now based in the UK, specifically in West Oxfordshire.
