Holiday Club for Young People

Yellow Submarine runs a holiday club for young people with disabilities aged 11-18 who live in west Oxfordshire. These activities only take place during the school holidays.

On Tuesdays, we run what we call 'explore' days. These are day trips to local facilities and activities, as well as occasionally some attractions further afield. Upcoming trips we're planning include visits to a local farm project and watching a football match at Oxford United.

On Thursdays, we organise 'activity' days (from 10am to 4pm) at the Windrush centre, Witney, in conjunction with Nexus. This allows participants to have supervised sessions involving the gym, swimming pool, ball games and art and craft.

Residential holidays

We will also be running 1 residential holiday in the easter holidays to Somerset and the seaside, and two trips in August to Blackpool. There will be spaces for only 5 young people on each holiday.

Regretablly we are just a small charity and can't help as many as families as we'd like. At the present time we are only helping families in West Oxfordshire. If you'd like to learn more or enquire about your child please contact Caroline Weston.
