About Yellow Submarine Staff

Yellow Submarine's director is Toby Staveley. He has a masters degree in Learning Disabilities and Mental Health from the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College.

Before starting Yellow Submarine Toby led the "Thursday Club" at Equal People K&C between 2004 and 2007. In this role he organised a weekly evening social club for people with learning disabilities, as well as trips to events such as musicals and football games.

Lucy Staveley is in charge of Yellow Submarine's activities and its gardening project. She has worked with groups with special needs in a number of countries around the world. When living in Nepal Lucy organised holidays for individuals with learning disabilities.

Toby and Lucy are qualifed First Aiders in the work place and both have Makaton levels 1-4.
