About Yellow Submarine Trustees


Yellow Submarine has four trustees who cover a broad range of skill sets and the commitee includes one service user. The chair is Elspeth Lee, the treasurer Roland Allen and the secretary is Kathryn Seward.


About Yellow Submarine Staff


Yellow Submarine's manager is Toby Staveley. He has a masters degree in Learning Disabilities and Mental Health from the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College.

Before starting Yellow Submarine Toby led the "Thursday Club" at Equal People K&C between 2004 and 2007. In this role he organised a weekly evening social club for people with learning disabilities, as well as trips to events such as musicals and football games.

Caroline Weston joined us in September 2011 as deputy manager. She has a 1st class degree in Youth and Development work and she has a wealth of experience of working with young people for over 12 years. Her role includes leading our respite holidays and developing our young people programmes.

Lucy Staveley (currently a volunteer) is in charge of Yellow Submarine's gardening project. She has worked with groups with special needs in a number of countries around the world. When living in Nepal Lucy organised holidays for individuals with learning disabilities.

Toby and Lucy are qualifed First Aiders in the work place and both have Makaton levels 1-4.
