About Yellow Submarine Holidays


Yellow Submarine provides opportunities for people with learning disabilities and their families and carers to benefit from subsidised respite breaks.

We organise supported day activities and residential holidays for people with learning disabilities and make use of this respite time to facilitate friendships, build confidence, teach new skills and of course, provide an enjoyable and memorable experience.

We are a very small organisation which is primarily volunteer led, with two full time staff members and sessional carers. Since 2010 we have been registered with the charity commission as a charity (no. 1136735).

In October 2011, we were very proud to be judged "Best new Voluntary or Community Group" at the Oxfordshire charity and volunteer awards.
